The Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing regarding rezoning and redevelopment of the Calumet Country Club property has been continued to March 3, 2021 at 10:30 am in the Homewood Village Hall Board Room, 2020 Chestnut Road. The meeting is accessible via Zoom, as allowed by Governor Pritzker’s Executive Order 2020-07 and Section 7(e) of the Illinois Open Meetings Act.

After receiving testimony, the Commission will make a non-binding recommendation to the Village Board.

To attend the public hearing in-person, please note there will be room capacity limits to maintain social distancing. Everyone entering the building must wear a mask covering their nose and mouth.

Due to building capacity limits the public is strongly encouraged to join the meeting via Zoom or dial-in.

Persons wishing to question the petitioner or to make a statement will be allowed to do so, both in person and on Zoom. Once all questioning is complete, those wishing to offer comments will be allowed to do so.

Those attending via Zoom will be muted until called upon. When joining the Zoom meeting, enter your first name and your last name or the initial of your last name. Use the “raise your hand” feature to indicate that you desire to ask a question or comment. Persons entering random or inappropriate words as a screen name will not be called.

Questions or comments may be also be submitted before the meeting by email to pzc@homewoodil.gov or in the drop box outside the Village Hall. Please type “Calumet Zoning Question” in the subject field of the email. In case of multiple questions or comments pertaining to the same subject matter, the chairperson of the Planning and Zoning Commission reserves the right to respond to or read a single question or comment on each subject. However, all questions or comments shall be distributed to all commission members.
